The Guild’s Annual General Meeting is part business and part social. A (very) brief summary of the year’s activity and financial status will be followed by a vote to ratify changes to the Guild’s Bylaw approved by the Board (view the list of changes in the March newsletter [PDF]). Members will be given an opportunity to express their thoughts on the Guild and address questions to the retiring Board. An election of all eleven Board of Director positions for 2008-09 will be held. This will be followed by a social where food and wine will be served. |

She is a past Director of the Guild who was named Canada’s Best Sommelier in 2006 and placed in the Top Ten at the World’s Best Sommelier competition in Greece in 2007.
