The Guild now has a group on Facebook. This group is intended to help Guild members meet each other and to foster social connections. Here's your chance to put names to faces, post comments, ask questions, and maybe even encourage others to attend events with you. This is by no means obligatory, just a new initiative to try and promote socializing and of course to promote the Guild. To join, you must be registered on Facebook. Once you have registered, visit the National Capital Sommelier Guild facebook page and request to join.

The National Capital Sommelier Guild strongly supports moderate and responsible consumption of wine and spirits. Guild dinner events allow a designated driver to attend at a reduced price. The designated driver will not be served alcohol. Guild tasting events provide and encourage the use of spit buckets.
