The National Capital Sommelier Guild in association with the Australian Wine Society of Ottawa is very pleased to announce an exclusive evening with highly awarded and well respected Barossa Valley premium winemaker Grant Burge. Winner of the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy as well as numerous National and International awards, Grant’s commitment and dedication to the Barossa Valley has resulted in his achievement in becoming one of the top 10 privately owned wine companies in Australia.
Join Guild Director Maureen Murphy to personally welcome Grant Burge in his first visit to Ottawa and celebrate Grant’s special release of his 150th Anniversary Wines. Enjoy a casual evening of fine wines and fabulous food at one of Ottawa’s most renowned culinary establishments, Le Cordon Bleu Signatures 5 Diamond Restaurant. The evening will feature an informal “walk about” tasting of 9 specially chosen, outstanding wines from Grant Burge’s extensive premium portfolio, carefully paired with exquisitely prepared canapés from Le Cordon Bleu chefs.
