Be an Epicurean Award Judge Print
Sunday, 03 August 2008

To participate as a judge go to epicureanawards.ca/judging and get a chance for free entry to the 2008 Ottawa Wine and Food Show as well as our Judge’s reception.

We have set up a brand new judging system this year.  It’s goal is to encourage more objective evaluation and obtain more details on specific issues.

We want to distinguish ourselves and hopefully provide more value than the many “vote for your favorite restaurant” review systems.    We anticipate that the data we collect (without your name)  might be used by restaurants in self assessment.   So this is a way for you to provide your favorite food haunts with information they need to improve themselves further.

It might take you a little longer to complete the new report and there may still be changes on the site, the forms, the award classes or other details.  YOUR PATIENCE IS APPRECIATED!

If there are problems with our new system or you disagree with our new methodology,  please reply to this e-mail or send a note to

Thank you in advance for your participation.
