Guild members and the public are invited to submit Ottawa-area candidates worthy of being recognized for Wine Person of the Year 2008. If you would like to nominate someone for this honour, please fill out the Wine Person of the Year 2008 Nomination Form in this newsletter and mail it in or e-mail Submissions must be received no later than Monday, 6 October 2008.

The National Capital Sommelier Guild strongly supports moderate and responsible consumption of wine and spirits. Guild dinner events allow a designated driver to attend at a reduced price. The designated driver will not be served alcohol. Guild tasting events provide and encourage the use of spit buckets.
