Nominations for the Board of Directors

In accordance with the Guild Bylaw, a Nominating Committee has been established to develop a slate of nominees for the five Directors positions to be elected at the May 4, 2009 Annual General Meeting.

Candidates may be nominated by two current members using the form included in the April newsletter. Nomination forms must be submitted by mail or given to any current Guild Director in person, and must be received no later than April 24, 2009.

Moderation
The National Capital Sommelier Guild strongly supports moderate and responsible consumption of wine and spirits. Guild dinner events allow a designated driver to attend at a reduced price. The designated driver will not be served alcohol. Guild tasting events provide and encourage the use of spit buckets.
